Well, this is the last day and it’s off to the airport to catch a flight home and back to reality. Back to work and transferring these scribbled notes to the internet.
If this blog encourages just one person to go on the India challenge next year then it will have done its job and I will be very proud indeed.
Did the challenge live up to expectations? It exceeded them in every way. We raised more money than I dared hope for and more is still coming in. I met some amazing people, some of whom will stay friends for life. I fell in love with a country. Riding 1,200 miles on an Enfield Bullet certainly wasn’t easy, but I wouldn’t have missed a minute of it.
Would I do it again? I’m already trying to figure out how.
A life-changing experience? This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
