Day 10 – Agra to Delhi

Another early start. Everyone was ready on time as we were at last headed for the Taj Mahal. Another day of smog and still the Taj looked magnificent. Nothing about the trip so far had been disappointing and the Taj was no exception. As we posed for a team photograph at the entrance I realised the challenge was drawing to a close.

From Agra we drove along the dual carriageway to Delhi. Only this was an Indian dual carriageway. Which meant cows, camels and people driving in the wrong direction. On both carriageways. It was more like Nintendo than biking. Watch out for the stationary cow – tractor heading towards you in the fast lane – camel cart coming at you along the hard shoulder!

Again, somehow we all made it safely to the hotel and headed out for a celebratory last meal together.
